MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) Commissioner Gamaliel Cordoba as the new chairman of the Commission on Audit (COA).
The Supreme Court’s Public Information Office on Friday confirmed that Cordoba, a lawyer, took his oath of office earlier this afternoon before Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo.
Cordoba will replace former solicitor general Jose Calida, who stepped down from the post earlier this month.
