MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — A total of 181 new female police officers were recruited and deployed in different provinces and highly urbanized cities of Central Luzon.
The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said the all-female police recruits took their oath of office at Camp Julian Olivas in a ceremony Thursday, Oct. 20, led by Brigadier General Cesar Pasiwen, PRO3 director.
It said the female police officers were chosen after a stringent screening process by the Regional Screening Committee on Recruitment.
Before their deployment, the new police officers will be sent to the Regional Training Center 3, Magalang, Pampanga, for the mandatory six-month basic training.
Pasiwen advised the rookie policewomen to dedicate themselves to the service and uphold the core values of the national police force. INQ
