P150,000 bounty offered for arrest of killers of Ilocos Norte cop
LAOAG CITY, Ilocos Norte—Authorities offered a P150,000 reward to anyone who could offer information leading to the capture of the killers of an Ilocos Norte policeman in Dingras town on Oct. 13.
At a press briefing on Thursday(Oct. 20), police said the reward was pooled by the police, relatives, and friends of slain Staff Sergeant Jackson Raymundo.
Raymundo, who figured in what the police described as an “inhumane shooting incident,” was an Intel operative.
Police Lt. Col. Roger Digmayo, spokesperson for the Ilocos Norte provincial police office (INPPO), were looking into the cases handled by Raymundo as a possible motive for his killing.
Digmayo said any information from the public could help them strengthen their case.
