Over P10M worth of marijuana seized in Bulacan drug stings

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Police seized more than P10 million worth of marijuana from three arrested suspects in simultaneous buy-bust operations on Wednesday, Oct. 19, in Obando and Guiguinto towns in Bulacan province.
Bulacan police chief Colonel Relly Arnedo said that at 4:35 a.m., Obando police personnel recovered 67 bricks of suspected marijuana from Allan Lucero, 31, in Barangay Hulo in Obando.
The confiscated drugs weighed 55.5 kilos worth about P6,420,000.
At 3:15 a.m in Masagana Homes, Barangay Sta. Rita in Guiguinto, Eliterio Pazon Jr., 28, and Hazel Domingo, 31, yielded 30 kilos of marijuana worth P3,600,000.
The arrested suspects will be charged of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
