In Ilocos Norte, social media user Nikka Suil captured the growing water levels in Madongan Dam caused by Neneng. She said that the dam’s water has destroyed nearby bamboo huts, which were made from lightweight materials.

According to the latest National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council report, 103,662 individuals were affected by Neneng, with 1,865 still residing in evacuation centers across northern Luzon.
