Motorcyclist dead in hit-and-run in Batangas City

LUCENA CITY — A motorcycle rider died Monday after being hit by an unidentified vehicle in Batangas City.
The Calabarzon police said Mark Anthony Untalan was traversing the national road in Barangay Gulod Itaas at 1:50 a.m. when a vehicle rammed him.
The vehicle dragged the motorcycle and Untalan, who suffered grave injuries and died on the spot.
The hit-and-run vehicle sped off after the incident, investigators said.
The police were conducting further investigation to identify the vehicle and its driver. INQ
