MANILA, Philippines — Several local government units in Northern Luzon have suspended classes on Monday, October 17, 2022, as communities reel from the aftermath of Typhoon Neneng (International name: Nesat).

- Aparri, Cagayan
- Sanchez Mira, Cagayan
- Camalaniugan, Cagayan
- Buguey, Cagayan
- Claveria, Cagayan (including all government work except for frontline services)
- Laoag City, Ilocos Norte
- Batac, Ilocos Norte
PRESCHOOL TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
- Ballesteros, Cagayan
Neneng, which made landfall in Cagayan early Sunday morning, has exited the Philippine area of responsibility, but its trough continues to bring rains to Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.
