MANILA, Philippines— President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has approved the promotion of 12 generals of the Philippine National Police.
The PNP has two new three-star generals: Lt. Gen. Benjamin Santos Jr. and Lt. Gen. Patrick Villacorte.
They joined the other lieutenant generals who were promoted earlier: Lt. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia, and Lt. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr.
The 10 other generals are Maj. Gen. Oliver Enmodias, Maj. Gen. Robert Rodriguez, Maj. Gen. Benjamin Acorda Jr., Maj. Gen. Arthur Cabalona, Brig. Gen. Cosme Abrenica, Brig. Gen. Enrico Vargas, Brig. Gen. Benedicto Pintor, Brig. Gen. Kirby John Kraft, Brig. Gen. Carlito Gaces and Brig. Gen. Joseph Bayan.
