TUGUEGARAO CITY — Five people were injured Thursday in a multiple vehicle collision in Diadi town, Nueva Vizcaya province, police said.
Investigators said three cars, a trailer truck, a closed van, and a tanker were involved in the crash along the national road in Barangay Nagsabaran.
An initial investigation showed that the tanker’s brake malfunctioned, causing it to bump into the closed van, which rammed the other vehicles.
The victims, including a 2-year-old boy, were taken to the Diadi Emergency Hospital for treatment, police said. INQ
