4 suspects yield drugs, guns in Gapan City bust
GAPAN CITY, Nueva Ecija—Police here arrested four men while allegedly having a pot session in Barangay (village) San Roque here on Thursday, Oct. 13.
Col. Richard Caballero, acting director of the Nueva Ecija police provincial office, identified the suspects as Richard Domingo, 36; John Mark Navarro, 29; Julius Ulpindo, 29; and Guillermo Magbitang, 42, all residents of San Roque.
The suspects yielded some 25 grams of alleged shabu (crystal meth) worth about P170,000, some dried marijuana leaves worth P300, a fragmentation grenade, a caliber .40 pistol, a caliber .38 revolver, several rounds of bullets and drug paraphernalia.
Caballero said they discovered the pot session when they served a search warrant on Domingo’s residence.
Domingo is allegedly a member of the Salvador robbery gang.
