ANGELES CITY — Police arrested two suspected drug traders who allegedly yielded P442,000 worth of alleged “shabu” (crystal meth) during a buy-bust operation Monday in Cutcut village in this city.
In a statement on Wednesday, Oct 12, city police director Colonel Juritz Rara identified the suspects as Reynante Pangilinan, 35, and Rilando Ramo, 30, both from Sampaloc, Manila.
Rara classified them as “high-value individuals” in the illegal drugs campaign.
They were arrested at 8:20 p.m. Monday after selling P10,000 worth of shabu to an undercover police at the Fil-Am Friendship Highway.
City police drug enforcement officers allegedly confiscated from the suspects 13 pieces of medium-sized sachets containing 65 grams of shabu.
Police also recovered the marked peso bills used in the sting operation and impounded the white Mitsubishi car used by the suspects when they allegedly sold illegal drugs.
The suspects were detained in Police Station 5. They face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
