3 arrested in Angeles City bust, over P100K worth of shabu seized
ANGELES CITY, Pampanga – Police arrested three suspected drug peddlers in a bust in Barangay Balibago here on Thursday, July 15. The bust also yielded some P102,800 worth of shabu (crystal meth).
Police identified the arrested suspects as Wilfredo Gundran Jr., 39; Romel Delos Reyes, 32; and Joshua Roman, 20.
In a statement, Angeles City police director Col. Rommel Batangan said the sting operation that was conducted inside a subdivision, resulted in the confiscation of eight sachets of shabu weighing about 15 grams.
Batangan said the three arrested suspects will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
On July 12, a buy-bust operation at Barangay Maimpis in the nearby City of San Fernando resulted in the arrest of a factory worker and a fish vendor.
The suspects were identified as Geraldo Ocampo, 42, and Bernardo Tapnio, 43, who allegedly sold P500 worth of shabu to an undercover agent. Allegedly seized from the duo were two grams of shabu worth P13,600. INQ
