Over P2.6M illegal drugs seized in a week in Central Luzon
OLONGAPO CITY — More than P2.6 million worth of illegal drugs were confiscated in separate anti-narcotics operations in Central Luzon in the past week, authorities said Tuesday, Oct. 11.
The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said the drug haul was mostly “shabu” (crystal meth) seized in more than 100 operations in the region from Oct. 2 to Oct. 8.
The operations also resulted in the arrest of 172 drug suspects, the PRO3 said.
During the same period, 178 most wanted persons facing various offenses were arrested.
At least 12 robbery suspects were also captured by the local police in the past week. INQ
