Over P330,000 shabu seized from 3 drug traffickers in Quezon
LUCENA CITY — More than P330,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) was confiscated on Monday and Tuesday from three suspected drug traffickers in buy-bust operations in Quezon province.
Colonel Ledon Monte, Quezon police chief, reported that anti-illegal drugs operatives nabbed Jayson Enriquez and Rick Zuniega about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, after sselling a pack of shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay Lalig in Tiaong town.
Authorities seized three sachets of shabu weighing 38.96 grams valued by the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) at about P264,928 and a car used by the suspects in their illegal drug trade.
In Atimonan town, police drug enforcers collared Romel Lubrico in Barangay Zone 1 at 9:05 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 10.
Authorities confiscated two sachets of meth with a DDB value of P66,844.

Article continues after this advertisementIn Dasmariñas City in Cavite, anti-narcotics agents also busted Ted Joshua Velchez in Barangay Salawag at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday, the regional police said in another report.
The suspect yielded four sachets of high-grade marijuana with a DDB value of P27,000.
All suspects were detained and will be charged of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
