MANILA, Philippines — It will be a cloudy weekend with scattered rain showers in many parts of the country due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

Flash floods and landslides are possible in rain-affected areas, Pagasa warned.

Meantime, Estreja said that Pagasa is monitoring two weather disturbances east of the Philippines that may develop into low pressure areas, but are unlikely to become a tropical cyclone.
