The mountain park, known in Cebu simply as “Tops” will be reopened as a joint venture between Fifth Avenue Property Development Corp. and EMRO Holdings Inc.

The management has yet to disclose the renovation cost.

The Tops management assured guests that their entrance fee would remain at P100 even after the redevelopment.

The Tops is a favorite destination of every Cebuano and lovers who want to relax and eat.

It is famous for its panoramic view of Cebu, Mandaue, Talisay, and Lapu-Lapu cities.

“Despite its temporary closure, we are keeping and enhancing what it has always been, while building new things to make Tops even better,” the management said.

Tops, located in one of Cebu City’s highest peaks, is 12 kilometers from the city proper or less than 30 minutes travel by car.

The mountain park, which is about 2,000 meters above sea level, opened to the public in 1985.
