MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.6 earthquake rocked Palawan Friday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Phivolcs detected the earthquake at 4:16 a.m. and traced its epicenter 35 kilometers northeast of Cagayancillo, Palawan.
The tectonic earthquake’s depth of focus was 40 kilometers.
Phivolcs reported no intensities.
No aftershocks and damage are expected, Phivolcs said.
