CATARMAN, Northern Samar — Two unidentified persons stole on Thursday about P204,000 in cash from a branch of a courier and freight forwarding services firm in this municipality.
The robbers, who wore tube masks that covered half of their faces and necks, declared a heist upon entering the LBC branch at around 1:32 p.m., according to Lt. Colonel Michael Jude Dotingco, chief of police in Catarman.
The suspects left in haste after getting the money from the cashier’s drawer and vault.
An employee of the LBC branch called the police station for help.
A police investigation is ongoing to identify and arrest the perpetrators.
