2 suspects yield over P40,000 meth in Olongapo City

OLONGAPO CITY — More than P40,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) was seized Wednesday from two drug suspects in this city.

The Olongapo City Police Office (OCPO) said they collared the unnamed suspects during a buy-bust operation in Barangay East Tapinac.

A companion of the two suspects eluded arrest by jumping over a fence, the investigators said.

Seized from the two arrested suspects were two sachets of alleged shabu worth P40,800. Also recovered from them was the buy-bust money.

The suspects will be charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
