Manila building fire leaves P2.7 million damage
MANILA, Philippines — A fire left P2.7 million worth of damage to a two-story commercial-residential building along Taft Avenue in Manila on Tuesday, the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (DRRMO) reported.
Citing information from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Manila DRRMO said no one died or was hurt in the blaze – but at least nine families were affected.
The BFP received its first fire alarm at 8:55 a.m. and deemed it under control at 9:20 a.m., according to Manila DRRMO.
Manila DRRMO declared the fire out at 9:38 a.m.
