MANILA, Philippines—Former Comelec Chairman Benjamin Abalos Sr. refused to enter a plea on the crime of electoral sabotage.
Lawyer Brigido Dulay maintained that the Pasay Court had no jurisdiction to hear the case.
Abalos is facing a separate case of electoral sabotage before the Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 112 for allegedly rigging the 2007 elections in North Cotabato.
His co-accused, North Cotabato election supervisor Yogie Martirizar, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
