CVIRAA Selection rebounds

THE CVIRAA Selection bounced back from their sorry loss in their last outing as they beat the University of the Visayas, 75-69, at the close of the elimination round of the 2012 ThreeSixty Pharmacy Cup at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu basketball courts along Mango Avenue.

The crucial victory gave the Palarong Pambansa-bound squad a 3-2 (win-loss) record and the third seed in the semifinals, which starts today at the same venue.

UV ended up with a 2-3 record and will face the top-seeded and undefeated University of San Carlos-RDAK in the semis set at 9 am.  CVIRAA takes on the Adgers tomorrow in the other semis pairing./Correspondent Jonas Panerio
