MANILA, Philippines — A trailer truck lost its brake and rammed seven vehicles on a Quezon City highway on Tuesday morning, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reported.
A taxi, two SUVs, a van, and three other vehicles were involved in the collision at the Aurora-Katipunan interchange.
The unidentified driver escaped but later surrendered to the MMDA.
“Driver resurfaced and admitted that the trailer truck experienced loss of brake,” the MMDA said in its report.
The Quezon City Police District said all of the seven motorists did not incur major injuries.
