MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather will prevail over parts of Luzon on Tuesday after Typhoon Karding exited the Philippine area of responsibility on Monday night, according to the state weather bureau.
Meanwhile, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Bataan, Zambales, and Western Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon or habagat, as well as Karding’s trough.
(For the remaining part of Luzon and Metro Manila, there will be fair and clear weather, but there is still a chance of isolated rainshowers because of thunderstorms in the afternoon or the evening).
According to Aurelio, fair weather will also prevail in the remaining part of Visayas and the whole of Mindanao, with chances of isolated rain in the afternoon or evening due to thunderstorms.
For areas affected by rain, Pagasa warned of possible flash floods or landslides.
