Karding destroys 589 houses, 245 boats in Aurora town

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Super Typhoon Karding destroyed 589 houses and 245 fishing boats in Dingalan town in Aurora, the municipal government said on Monday, September 26.
In a text message to the Inquirer, Ivy Buenaventura, public information officer of Dingalan, said the list of the destroyed houses and boats was as of Monday morning.
She said 6,734 houses and 473 boats were also damaged as the typhoon made landfall in Aurora.
Buenaventura said the municipal government has yet to determine the total cost of destruction in the coastal town. INQ
