AN ELUSIVE  drug suspect evaded arrest anew but police arrested her companion  in a buy-bust operation in barangay Lahug, Cebu City.

Teresita “Teray” dela Torre has been the subject of past drug raids  but managed to escape again, said Jessie Tabanao, spokesman of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas (PDEA).

Last Thursday night,  PDEA-7 and the Cebu Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operation Task Group conducted another raid against Dela Torre.

Tito was the one who handed the drug pack to the police decoy.

The police agent grabbed  his arm while dela Torre ran to her house.

The raiding team chased Dela Torre but failed to catch up with  her.

She reportedly  escaped through a small  tunnel built inside the house which leads to a creek.

The PDEA-7 tagged Dela Torre as a level two drug pusher who could sell 200 grams of shabu  worth P1.4 million a week. /CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
