Magsaysay awardee leads speakers at PNU rites

Dr. Maria Victoria Carpio-Bernido, who shared half the honor with her husband as the recipient of the 2010 Ramon Magsaysay Award, led this year’s guests at the Philippine Normal University graduation ceremonies.

Carpio-Bernido was guest speaker in the 104th PNU commencement exercises held on March 21.

Fr. Danilo Flores, a lecturer on canon law at the University of Santo Tomas, also served as spiritual speaker earlier in the baccalaureate program.

Another speaker was Dr. Soledad A. Ulep, a science education specialist from the University of the Philippines-National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education Development (UP-Nismed).
