10 villages in Olongapo City still COVID-free

OLONGAPO CITY — Ten of the 17 villages in this city remained without an active COVID-19 case based on the latest data from the city health office on Tuesday, September 20.
The improving COVID-19 situation in the city was reflected in the declining number of active infections, which further dropped from 17 on Monday to 15 on Tuesday.
Except for a new case on Tuesday, the city has recorded zero new infections in the last two days. The latest to get infected by the viral disease is a 59-year-old man from Barangay Asinan.
Since 2020, the city has registered 7,399 COVID-19 cases with 7,024 recoveries. The city’s death toll related to the disease remained at 360, with no new fatalities in the past few days.
