LUCENA CITY — A drinking session on Sunday (Sept. 18) among three friends in Buenavista town in Quezon province turned bloody when one of them was stabbed to death.
The Buenavista police reported Monday that farmers Ariel Delen, 48; Edgardo Siclos, 59; and Fernando Andrade, 52, were having a drink around 6 p.m. at Delen’s house in Barangay Bagong Silang.
Suddenly and without any provocation, Andrade stabbed his two drinking buddies. The suspect fled after the incident.
The two victims were rushed to the rural health unit in the locality.
Delen died on the way from a stab wound on his stomach, while Siclos had a wound on his forearm.
Police are investigating the incident to establish the motive behind the killing, and launched a manhunt to arrest the assailant. INQ
