MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.4 earthquake jolted Sarangani on Friday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Phivolcs reported that the earthquake struck at 7:03 a.m. traced its epicenter 43 kilometers southwest of Kiamba, Sarangani.
The earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 21 kilometers.
Phivolcs did not report intensities in other areas and said that no aftershocks or damage are expected.
