MANILA, Philippines — Ten people were injured as a 50-feet spinning ride plummeted to the ground at a fair in India, according to Times Now, an Indian news channel in English.

Some of the people had head and neck injuries.

The incident took place at a fair in Mohali City in the Indian state of Punjab on Sunday.

According to the report, 15 persons were aboard the ride when the spinning wheel fell.

A video shared by journalist Nikhil Choudary to Twitter on Sunday shows the spinning wheel plummeting to the ground with a loud thud, throwing the riders away.

The Times of India reported that the state police on Monday lodged a case against the organizer of the fair.
