SUV driver in Mandaluyong hit-and-run case pleads not guilty

MANILA, Philippines — The driver seen in a viral video hitting a security guard with his vehicle outside a mall in Mandaluyong City last June has pleaded not guilty to a case of frustrated homicide.

Jose Antonio Sanvicente was accompanied by his lawyer Danny Macalino before Mandaluyong City Regional Trial Court Branch 213.

The Court has scheduled the pre-trial for October 4.
