Rape suspect falls in Angeles City
ANGELES CITY –Police arrested a rape suspect in this city following a manhunt on Saturday.
Angeles City police director Col. Diosdado Fabian identified the arrested suspect as Dennis Geralde Jimenez, 42, a resident of Anunas village here.
Judge Maria Angelica Paras-Quiambao of the Angeles City Regional Trial Court Branch 59 issued the arrest warrant against the suspect for statutory rape without bail.
Police officers from Station 4 and other units arrested Jimenez at 4:15 p.m. at his residence.
A day earlier, the Porac police also arrested another notorious suspect, Romnick Candelaria.
Judge Benigno Abila of the Angeles City RTC Branch 117 issued a warrant for Candelaria’s arrest for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
