MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — The Angeles City government deployed on Thursday teams of COVID-19 vaccinators to the boundaries it shares with this city, City of San Fernando, and Porac town.

A mobile bus clinic and two ambulances were stationed along the borders, serving residents of the three adjacent localities along with Angeles City residents, who received initial doses or booster shots.

Angeles Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. said the deployment of vaccination teams aims to fast-track the national government’s campaign to inoculate as many Filipinos as possible against COVID-19.

On August 5 this year, Lazatin also ordered the deployment of mobile bus clinics and ambulances to its borders to vaccinate and administer booster shots to eligible residents of its neighboring localities.
