MANILA, Philippines — Supertyphoon Hinnamnor will enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Wednesday, state meteorologists announced in a press conference.
“Anytime between 6 pm to 8 pm ay possible nang pumasok ng northern boundary ng ating area of responsibility itong si Hinnamnor,” said
(Between 6 pm and 8 pm, Hinnamnor may enter our area of responsibility.)
Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Raymond Ordinario.
Once inside the PAR, Pagasa will give the supertyphoon the local name “Henry.”
Hinnamnor is currently located 870 kilometers northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon, packing maximum sustained winds of 195 kilometers per hour (kph) with gustiness of up to 240 kph.
