Active COVID-19 cases in Pampanga’s capital drop below 100

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — The active COVID-19 cases in the City of San Fernando went down to 93 on Tuesday (Aug. 30) from 111 active cases five days ago, data from the city health office showed.

The city government registered five new cases, 14 recoveries and zero deaths on Tuesday.

Dolores village has the highest active cases at 13, followed by San Agustin with nine, and Bulaon and Sindalan with eight cases each.

As of Tuesday, 11 of the capital city’s 35 villages remained free of COVID-19. These include Dela Paz Norte, Dela Paz Sur, Magliman, Malino, Pandaras, Pulung Bulo, Santo Rosario, Quebiawan, San Felipe, San Juan and San Pedro Cutud.

San Fernando has recorded a total of 15,478 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began in 2020. Of this figure, 15,036 have recovered while 349 had died. INQ
