THE Philippine Army is now hiring officer candidate course (OCC) and officer preparatory course (OPC) for second lieutenant.
A pre-entry written examination for both courses will be conducted to all qualified applicants.
It will be held on April 11 to 16 in Camp Lapu-Lapu, Lahug, Cebu City; April 18 at the University of Eastern Philippines in Catarman, Samar; April 19 in Camp Maulong, Catbalogan, Samar; April 21 at Leyte Colleges in Tacloban City; April 23 at St. Joseph Colleges in Maasin, Leyte; April 25 at Camp Bernido in Tagbilaran City, Bohol; April 28 at Capiz State University in Capiz; April 29 at the Western Institute of Technology in Iloilo City; and April 30 to May 15 in Camp Lapu-Lapu, Lahug.
Examination passers will be interviewed by the OCC Board on May 2012.
Applicants should be a natural born Filipino citizen, baccalaureate degree holder (4- or 5-year course), single and never been married, of good moral character, at least 5 ft tall, at least 21 to 24 years old for OCC and 21 to 30 years old for OPC, with no pending case in civil or military courts and physically and mentally fit.
Classes will be held tentatively in June.
