Pagasa: Fair Friday weather with isolated rain showers

MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather with cloudy skies and isolated rain showers are expected nationwide on Friday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

“Cloudy skies and scattered rain showers due to the  intertropical convergence zone are expected in Eastern Visayas.  The rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will experience fair weather conditions with isolated rain showers and cloudy skies due to localized thunderstorms,” said Pagasa weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin said in Filipino.

The state weather bureau also warned of possible flash floods and landslides.

No gale warnings were raised.

The forecast temperature range in key cities on Friday are as follows:

  • Metro Manila — 25 to 34 degrees Celsius
  • Baguio — 17 to 22  degrees Celsius
  • Laoag — 24 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Tuguegarao — 24 to 35  degrees Celsius
  • Legazpi — 24 to 31 degrees Celsius
  • Puerto Princesa — 26 to 31 degrees Celsius
  • Tagaytay — 21 to 31 degrees Celsius
  • Kalayaan Islands — 27 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Iloilo — 25 to 31 degrees Celsius
  • Cebu — 24 to 31 degrees Celsius
  • Tacloban — 26 to 31 degrees Celsius
  • Cagayan de Oro — 24 to 30 degrees Celsius
  • Zamboanga — 24 to 30 degrees Celsius
  • Davao — 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
