MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga—Anti-narcotics police have arrested two “high-value individuals,” who yielded shabu worth about P374,000 in a recent buy-bust operation at Dolores village.

Police Regional Office 3 director Brigadier General Cesar Pasiwen said in an August 24 statement that the arrested suspects, Jayson Dalen, 36, and Janeth Dela Cruz, 37, both of Angeles City, were on the Philippine National Police list of drug personalities.

City and regional drug enforcement operatives conducted the arrest at 9:35 p.m. on August 22.

The police allegedly seized some 55 grams of suspected shabu, the marked P1,000 bill, and the four pieces of P1,000 play money used in the sting operation.

The suspects face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

In Bamban, Tarlac, regional, provincial and municipal police arrested on August 22, the fifth most wanted person in the province.

Judge Ronald Leo Haban of the Capas Regional Trial Court Branch 66 issued the warrant for Diosdado Tabil, 53, a constructio foreman, for rape by sexual assault, the Central Luzon police said.

Judge Jeovannie Ordoño of Capas RTC Branch 109 issued another warrant against Tabil for a similar offense.

Tabil was set to be presented to the courts that issued the warrants against him. INQ
