Son slain, father hurt in Masbate shooting
LEGAZPI CITY—A 24-year-old man was killed, and his father was wounded they were waylaid on Wednesday in Aroroy town in Masbate province.
A Masbate police report on Thursday, August 25, said Garry Narrido was driving a tricycle with his father, Jerry, 63, as a passenger when at 9:40 p.m., two unidentified men waylaid and fired shots at them in Barangay Luy-a.

Both suffered from multiple bullet wounds and were taken to the Aroroy Municipal Hospital, but Garry was declared dead on arrival.
