2 more Angeles City residents die of COVID-19

ANGELES CITY, Pampanga – Two more patients here died due to COVID-19 complications, the city government disclosed on Wednesday, August 24.

The fatalities were residents of Mining and Pulung Maragul villages.

The city health office registered 11 new COVID-19 cases and 12 recoveries on the same day.

Data showed that the active cases here stood at 81.

Pampanga village has the most active cases at 11, followed by Santo Domingo with nine and Cuayan with eight.

Since the pandemic began in 2020, this city has recorded a total of 15,408 COVID-19 cases, of which 14,773 have recovered, while 554 have died. INQ
