COTABATO CITY—A driver died as his mini-dump truck figured in a collision Wednesday with a passenger bus in Sultan Kudarat town, Maguindanao.
The incident happened around 6:30 a.m., near an Army detachment overlooking Camp Darapanan, the administrative headquarters of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, in Crossing Simuay village.
The truck’s cab was crumpled, and the still unidentified driver, was pinned on his seat.
The Rural Tours bus was bound for Cotabato City, from Cagayan de Oro City.
