MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.1 earthquake hit Surigao Del Norte on Tuesday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Phivolcs reported the quake at 2:21 a.m. and located its epicenter 73 kilometers northeast of Burgos, Surigao Del Norte.
The tectonic earthquake’s depth of focus was 15 kilometers.
Phivolcs did not report any intensities and said that no aftershocks or damages are expected.
