2 dead bodies found

SAN MIGUEL, Bulacan — Two still unidentified bodies with suspected gunshot wounds were found along a road in a remote village in this town Sunday, August 21.

San Miguel police chief Colonel Jayson San Pedro said the bodies of a woman and a man were found about 200 meters apart along the NIA road in Barangay (village) Camias at around 6:15 a.m.

San Pedro said the woman was wearing a red jacket and red shirt and short pants with her eyes covered with masking tape while the man was wearing a checkered long sleeve and denim pants.

San Pedro said a concerned citizen informed them through a phone call about the found bodies.

As of press time, the police are conducting an investigation of the case and are still identifying the victims.

The incident is the fourth time that dead bodies were found in Bulacan since last month.

On Saturday morning (August 20) the body of a missing 20-year-old woman was found floating in a river.

Last week, a 15-year-old girl biker, who was raped and then killed, was discovered in the Plaridel Bypass in Bustos town. The police had already identified and arrested the suspect.

Last month, a young woman engineer was found dead also in a grassy remote area in City of Malolos. The victim was robbed and strangled to death by her neighbor, police said.
