Pascual wants to try duathlon
CEBUANO Azkal Paolo Pascual said that he wants to try the sport of duathlon if he has the time.
“I’ve always wanted to do so and I might do it if there’s no conflict with schedules for the team,” Pascual said.
Aside from being the no.3 goalkeeper of the Philippine Azkals, Pascual is also a member of the Global FC, which is currently seeing action in the Division 1 of the United Football League.
He said that the Philippine Azkal’s third place finish in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Challenge Cup 2012 was a very big accomplishment.
Pascual was with the Philippine Azkals, coach Hans Michael Weiss and team manager Dan Palami on a four-hour stopover at the Mactan Cebu International Airport yesterday.
The team came from Nepal, wherein they finished third in the AFC Challenge Cup 2012.
