LEGAZPI CITY—Two persons were wounded in a shooting incident on Thursday morning, August 18, in Cawayan town in Masbate province.
Cawayan police said in a report that Christopher Alcomendas and Bobet Aballe, both 30 years old, were installing around 7:30 a.m. a fence in a ranch when unidentified men fired upon them in Barangay Tuburan.
Both men suffered injuries and taken to the Provincial Health Office for treatment.
The police conducted a pursuit operation for possible identification and arrest of the suspects, who fled after the incident. The attackers are still at large.
Investigation of the incident is ongoing.
