All systems go for Columbia Eco Trail Run
THE Philippine Adventure Consultant (PAC) and Columbia Outdoor Gear joined forces to stage the sixth leg of the Columbia Eco Trail Run this May 6 in Carmen town, northern Cebu.
The trail run will offer 7-kilometer and 15k categories along a very tough route that will pass through a huge cave, limestone formation, mountain ridge, a canyon and a river.
“We want to try to help Carmen’s tourism program by bringing in trail runners,” said Ralph Pilapil, the race director of the Eco Trail Run.
In its previous leg, the organizers were able to gather 400 trail runners. In the upcoming leg, organizers are targeting 500.
The race will kick off and finish at the Uragay Spring Resort. Transportation for the participants will be available at the North Bus Terminal in Cebu City.
Exciting prizes awaits the top three winners in each category while medals will be given to all of the finishers in the elite category.
