4 arrested in Legazpi City drug sting




LEGAZPI CITY — A suspected drug den operator and his three visitors were arrested on Saturday following  a buy-bust operation in this city, authorities said on Sunday.


The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in the Bicol region said in a report that Christopher Alamil, 39, and his visitors, Rebecca Arias Cadalin, 39; Mark Anthony Volante, 27; and Dante Cariño Jr., 35, were arrested in Barangay (village) Puro at around 1:00 p.m.

Confiscated during the operation were seven  sachets or 15 grams of shabu (crystal meth) worth around P102,000 and other drug-using paraphernalia.


The suspects will face a formal complaint for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
