MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga—Police arrested the most wanted person on the list of the Department of the Interior and Local Government during an operation on Wednesday, August 10, in Maria Aurora town, Aurora province.
In a statement, newly designated Central Luzon police director Brigadier General Cesar Pasiwen identified the arrested person as Reynaldo Caseria, 53.
Pasiwen said Caseria, a farmer, had been the subject of a warrant issued by Judge Enrico Voltaire Rivera of the Baler Regional Trial Court Branch 91 for murder.
The DILG had offered P140,000 as a reward for Caseria’s arrest.
Pasiwen said joint operatives from the provincial and town police, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Maritime Group, and explosive ordnance and canine group in Quirino village in Maria Aurora arrested the suspect.
Caseria was detained at the municipal police station and will be presented to the court that issued the arrest warrant against him. INQ
