TUGUEGARAO CITY—A 55-year-old man died Tuesday after his tricycle collided with a van along the national highway in this city, the police said.
Tomas Quindatan of Barangay Tanza in this city, died when his tricycle was thrown several meters away and landed upside down, investigators said.
The van crashed into a post due to the collision. Van driver Carl Asuncion, 22, of Solana town in Cagayan province, surrendered to the authorities.
Asuncion, who was drunk during the accident, was detained and face charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and damage to property, the police said. INQ
